During a Craniosacral massage, the head and spine are heavily emphasized; it is similar to chiropractic care in many ways. To provide even more comfort and healing, your therapist may make small adjustments to the neck or spinal area throughout this type of massage.

About Craniosacral Massage

Craniosacral massage has been used to treat head injuries and is now a commonly used treatment option for neck pain. Craniosacral massage helps relieve tension in the tissues around the skull, spine, and neck while promoting relaxation and balance.

Craniosacral massage relieves pain by releasing cranial compression or restrictions caused by muscle tension, misaligned vertebrae, or other misalignments in the spine. Craniosacral massage also helps to enhance the circulation of blood and lymphatic fluids throughout the body, which can help reduce inflammation in the neck and head.

Craniosacral massage is a gentle therapy that requires slow movements, pressure, and deep breathing for maximum effect.

Session Timing

Whether on four hands or a single therapist session of Craniosacral massage, the duration may last between 30 mins to 45 mins. Please remember immediate or rough movement may be avoided after the massage, although about 15 to 20 minutes of calmness is requested for the blood to flow back to its normal state.

Happy Endings Talk

Unfortunately, each Crainosacral Massage session does not necessarily need a happy ending at the end.
